On September 30, representatives of foundations, NGOs and social businesses from Ukraine and the EU gather in Kyiv to discuss the future of impact entrepreneurship.
Since its inception, modern businesses must employ traditional business methods if they hope to develop and implement innovations in order to solve social and environmental problems. The topic of impact entrepreneurship is given special attention at business conferences, political summits and scientific papers. But what is the social impact of business? Is it possible to build enterprises in Ukraine where profit is not the main purpose of their existence? What can those who want to become impact entrepreneurs expect?
All these questions will be answered at the first international conference Social Impact Day 2021, which is supported by the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation in the framework of the joint initiative "EU4USociety".
