The winners of the World Summit Award Ukraine benefit not from a one-time financial reward, but from long-term effective partnership and integration. Exports, access to international markets, direct networking with Western experts and partners.

The WSA competition is open to projects that:
- offer digital solutions for any of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
- have a strong digital component: website, apps, SMS-based solutions, IoT, wearables, etc.
- are ready to launch or have been launched on the market
Projects at the idea or concept stage are not eligible.

Categories of projects participating in the competition:
- government and citizen engagement
- health and well-being
- training and education
- environment and green energy
- culture and tourism
- smart settlements and urbanization
- business and commerce
- inclusion and empowerment

Being nominated for this national competition means that your project is the best in the country in one of 8 categories. The winners in each category of the National Competition will be nominated for the World Summit Award 2023 to participate in the global WSA competition.
This year's national jury from Ukraine is made up of board members of the Ukrainian Social Venture Fund.
